Founder's conviction

Stereotypes and negative perceptions towards women in engineering and towards engineering by girls and women are preventing more girls and women from pursuing engineering careers. There is a need to eliminate these stereotypes and biases by educating girls and providing as much information about engineering as possible.

To young women in engineering, who took a leap of faith, who were motivated and courageous enough to go into engineering, as you grow professionally or academically you will meet challenges, related to gender bias and stereotypes and do not let them discourage you.

To female professional technicians, technologists, and engineers who have made it in this industry, hold these young women's hands, inspire and educate. Be the breakthrough they need, you know the hardships. Do not be the killers of girls dreams because, as women, we should stand for each other.

My conviction to young girls out there is to educate them on engineering careers, encourage and motivate them to know that engineering careers are an option for them.

There is no Engineering without Science, Technology , and Mathematics, therefore, this is a foundation to a legacy of STEMpowered generations of women, to whom I will be a Fairy-sister, Fairy-mother, FairyAunt, Fairygrandmother
